Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of Sales (sales.halogroup.ch), the sales workspace for business teams operated by Halo Group, Switzerland (“the Operator”). By signing in or using the Service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
01The Service
Sales is a business tool for managing commercial correspondence, prospects, companies and sales pipeline. It is provided to organisations and their team members by arrangement with the Operator. It is not a public consumer product, and no one has a claim to be granted access.
02Accounts
An account is personal. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify the Operator without delay at jan@halogroup.ch if you suspect unauthorised use. Accounts created through Google sign-in start in an empty personal space; access to any organisation’s data is granted separately by that organisation’s owner.
03Acceptable use
Using the Service you must not:
- send unlawful communications — including bulk e-mail without a lawful basis or without a working way for recipients to decline further contact; recorded opt-outs are binding and enforced by the Service’s suppression list;
- probe, scan or attempt to bypass the Service’s security or another tenant’s data isolation;
- upload content that is illegal or infringes third-party rights;
- resell, sublicense or make the Service available to third parties without the Operator’s written agreement.
The Operator may suspend or restrict an account that violates these rules, taking the least severe measure that protects the Service and the people whose data it holds.
04Connected third-party services
The Service connects to mailbox and calendar providers (Google, Microsoft) only with the scopes you approve on the provider’s own consent screen, and uses that access solely to provide the Service’s features. You can revoke this consent at any time in your provider’s account settings (Google, Microsoft); revocation stops synchronisation immediately. Use of data received from Google APIs is governed by our Privacy Policy, including the Google API Services User Data Policy Limited Use requirements.
05Data protection
How personal data is processed — categories, purposes, legal bases, subprocessors, retention and your rights — is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Each user remains responsible for the lawfulness of the outreach they conduct through the Service.
06Availability and changes
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of uninterrupted operation. The Operator may change, suspend or discontinue features as the product evolves; material changes affecting active users are announced inside the application.
07Intellectual property
The Service, its design and its software remain the property of the Operator and its licensors. Data you or your organisation enter remains yours; you grant the Operator only the rights needed to run the Service (storage, processing, backup).
08Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is liable only for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. The Service is a working tool for professional users; the Operator is not liable for lost profits, lost data caused by circumstances outside its control, or the content of correspondence users conduct through it. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
09Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and ask for your account to be closed. The Operator may terminate access with reasonable notice, or immediately in the case of a serious violation of section 03. Upon closure, data handling follows the retention rules of the Privacy Policy.
10Governing law and final provisions
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Exclusive venue is the Operator’s registered seat, unless mandatory law provides otherwise. If a provision proves invalid, the remainder stays in force. The current version of these terms always lives at this address; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
